Loneliness II

In 2019, Videocity presented the first Loneliness screening cycle across the city of Basel, Switzerland. Yet, the subject of loneliness was rarely as relevant as during the current health crisis, where many find themselves isolated from their families, colleagues and friends. For this reason, the team at Videocity decided the extend the Loneliness cycle with a sequel, starting on 8th March 2021. Over a period of six months, 36 videos by 36 artists from Switzerland and across the world will be presented. Many of the selected artists are young and, for some of them, it is their first exhibition in Switzerland.
