The idea of feeling lonely in one of the UK’s most densely populated Cities can feel abstract. However, Manchester’s economic and social infrastructure can often present conditions that can drive its residents to live this shared experience. The works each approach the idea of loneliness in different ways. The presented works encapsulate the theme of loneliness in this world. Shown on one of Manchester’s busiest streets.
The exhibition also showcases video works by Ukrainian artists as part of a fundraising campaign to support Ukrainian cultural practitioners. Find out more here.
