In the Storm of “Change”

At Seoul Media Canvas, Videocity shows individual stories and struggles to ride out the storm of “Change” accelerated by the pandemic. “Social-distancing” and “digitalizing” have become the new norms of this generation. Consequently, we have all invented respective methods to cope with the crisis in these recent years. In this exhibition, we will encounter moments of loneliness and confusion. But at the same time, we will also encounter various directions that helps us to adapt and withstand the change. These respective struggles will strengthen society as unity and inspire us to begin again.

“변화”의 폭풍 속에서

‘서울로미디어캔버스 비디오시티전’은 판데믹으로 가속화된 “변화”의 폭풍을 이겨내기 위해 고군분투하는 개인의 이야기를 보여줍니다. 최근 몇 년간 이 세대의 새로운 기준이 된 ‘사회적 거리 두기’와 ‘디지털화’를 겪으며, 우리는 위기에 대처하기 위한 각각의 방법을 만들어냈습니다. 이번 비디오시티전에서는 외로움과 혼란의 순간을 만날 것입니다. 동시에 그 변화에 적응하고 견뎌낼 수 있도록 도와주는 다양한 순간과 마주할 것입니다. 이러한 각각의 순간은 사회를 하나로 모으고 다시 시작할 수 있는 열의를 불어넣을 것입니다.
