SCOUT スカウト is an experimental video art exhibition set in a non-conventional, traditional Japanese-style house that disrupts the linearity between spaces and imagery. In two spaces separated by distance and physical barriers, the images are transmitted through a tunnel-like device, creating a unique possibility of bridging two ‘crannies of the real’ together. This exhibition is a playful exercise that invites the audience to become ‘bird-watchers,’ ‘boy-scout,’ and voyeurs. By reimagining images and alternating between information, pixels, and entertainment, we aim to rethink the dynamic of geographical constraints and aesthetic strategies.
